recording studio



The Wonder Institute Recording Studio is a controlled environment with high-quality audio and visual equipment, designed to provide a professional atmosphere for content creation. The studio is acoustically treated to minimize unwanted sounds and echoes and is equipped to keep external noise to a minimum. The space is set up to allow multiple participants to comfortably record audio or video content together.
EQUIPMENT:
A RodeCaster Pro and 2 Shure 7M7B mics for audio recording
A Canon Vixia HF G50 UHD 4K Camcorder
A large 7ft X 7ft pull-down green screen
A Canon EO5 Rebel T7i for stills or video (both cameras are mounted to rolling tripods for ease of use)
A Saramonic SR-WM2100 2-Person Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for Cameras and Smartphones for all audio recording needs.
The studio can be reserved for up to 2 hrs/day.
editing station
The Wonder Institute Editing Station is a separate workspace in the Library's public computer lab designed for the post-production of visual media. It is a dedicated computer workstation with specialized software and hardware that enable content creators to bring their visions to life, crafting polished and visually stunning videos and photos.
equipment & Software:
The editing station consists of a Mac Studio and an Apple 27” Studio Display. The station also has a wireless mouse, keyboard, and an Apple Magic Trackpad. Software includes the full Adobe Suite, Audacity, GarageBand, and Blender. The software allows users to edit, color grade, and add special effects, and audio to their footage.
